What Is the San José del Cabo Gallery District?

The Gallery District is the concentration of art galleries, studios and creative businesses in the historic center of San José del Cabo, immediately behind and around the main square and mission. It is centered on Álvaro Obregón and nearby streets, and it is the core area visitors explore during the Thursday Art Walk.

Where Is It?

Start at Plaza Mijares in downtown San José del Cabo. From there, walk toward Álvaro Obregón and the surrounding blocks. The district is compact enough to explore on foot, but gallery hours and event participation can vary.

Ivan Guaderrama Art Gallery

Located at Álvaro Obregón 20 in the Gallery District. The gallery is known for contemporary work, including paintings, prints, sculpture and interactive pieces.

Galería Corsica
