When Should You Go?

The Centro Histórico de San José del Cabo currently lists Art Walk events on Thursdays through 2026, including September and October dates. Current calendar pages show changing start times depending on the date, so check the official historic-center calendar for the Thursday you plan to visit rather than relying on an old seasonal schedule.

How long should I allow?

Allow at least two hours if you want to enter several galleries without rushing. Collectors and visitors who enjoy speaking with gallery staff may want three hours or more.

Does the Art Walk cost money?

Walking the district and entering participating galleries is generally free. Individual private tours, ticketed events or special experiences should state their own prices.

Can I buy art during the walk?
